Who Garden Spas are for
Garden Spas are built for people who thought they didn't have room or wiring for a hot tub: condo and townhome owners, small patios, side yards, and even some indoor spaces. They come in nine compact models from 2 to 6 seats and plug into a standard outlet, so the installation is about as simple as a hot tub gets. Maintenance-free Grandwood cabinets keep upkeep low.

Plug-and-play: what to expect
Garden Spas plug into a standard 120V/15A outlet using the included 15-foot GFCI cord, so there's no new 240V circuit (HomeGuide's national data puts that at $800–$1,600). The trade-off is heating: on 120V, Garden Spas use a 1.0 kW heater, which raises the water temperature slowly, roughly 1–1.5°F per hour in a 300-gallon spa before heat loss. Keep the cover on between soaks and the spa will be ready when you are. Some models list a 4.0 kW heater for 240V hookups if you want faster heating later. Garden Spas in a Utah winter
Garden Spas come with ArcticPac insulation and an ABS bottom, and full foam is available as an option. For winter soaking in Utah, we recommend the full-foam option, a tight-fitting cover, and shorter soaks with the lid closed between sessions. See our winter guide.

Do Garden Spas need an electrician?
Not for a new circuit. Garden Spas plug into a standard 120V/15A outlet using the included 15-foot GFCI cord. Make sure the outlet meets the requirements in the owner's manual, and don't use an extension cord.
How fast does a Garden Spa heat up?
On 120V, Garden Spas use a 1.0 kW heater. That's roughly a 1–1.5°F rise per hour in a spa of about 300 gallons, before heat loss, so plan the first fill a day ahead and keep the cover on between soaks.
Can I use a Garden Spa in winter in Utah?
Yes. Keep it full, running and covered. Ask about the optional full-foam insulation, and expect slower heat recovery than a 240V spa after a long soak with the cover off.
Garden Spas or Nordic ALL-IN-110V: which plug-and-play hot tub is better?
Both plug into a standard outlet and seat 2 to 6. Garden Spas come in nine compact models with low-maintenance Grandwood cabinets and include a 15-foot GFCI cord. The Nordic ALL-IN-110V series includes Nordic Wrap insulation and the Nordic Clean ozonator as standard. Ask us which models are on display in Midvale so you can compare seating in person.
Is a Garden Spa a good fit for a condo or townhome in the Salt Lake area?
