Who South Seas Spas are for
South Seas is the line we point people to when they want lots of choice at an accessible price. With more than fifteen models across the Deluxe and Standard classes, you can choose loungers or benches, compact or family-size, and different jet layouts without stepping up to Island Spas or Elite pricing. Pillowfall massagers and neck-and-shoulder jet systems are signature features.
Electrical: mostly 240V, with one plug-in option
Most South Seas models are 240V spas with a 5.5 kW heater. The 6-seat 840LE, for example, has a 5.0 BHP two-speed pump plus a 3.0 BHP pump and holds about 405 gallons. The exception is the 519P: a 4-seat, 200-gallon spa that plugs into a 120V outlet with a 15-foot GFCI cord and uses a 1.4 kW heater. It's a good fit for patios and townhomes where adding a circuit isn't practical. Read 110V vs 240V to decide which makes sense for you.
South Seas in a Utah winter
South Seas lists full foam as an optional feature. If you plan to soak all winter, ask us about it, along with a well-fitting cover. The 240V models' 5.5 kW heater recovers heat quickly on cold nights. See our winter guide.

Is there a plug-and-play South Seas spa?
Yes. The 519P seats four, holds about 200 gallons, and plugs into a 120V outlet with a 15-foot GFCI cord. It uses a 1.4 kW heater. Most other South Seas models need a 240V circuit.
How many South Seas models are there?
More than fifteen, in Deluxe and Standard classes, from 3-person spas up to the 8-person 965L, with lounger and bench layouts.
Who makes South Seas Spas?
South Seas Spas are made by Artesian Spas, the same manufacturer as Island Spas, Artesian Elite, Garden Spas and TidalFit.
South Seas or Island Spas: what's the difference?
Both are Artesian brands. South Seas offers lots of shapes and jet layouts, with more than fifteen Deluxe and Standard models at accessible price points. Island Spas lets you choose a size and then the Essential, Luxury or Elite trim. Compare them side by side on the spa models page.
Can I finance a South Seas spa?
Yes. Financing is through Mountain America Credit Union. You can apply online from our financing page or in the Midvale showroom, where we'll walk you through it. Ask us for current pricing on the model you like.
