Who the Luxury Series is for
Nordic's Luxury Series is for families who want a feature-rich, full-size spa at a value price. All three models seat six to eight, and they pair corner captain's chairs and No-Float loungers with Nordic Star stainless steel jets. The 6-person Encore LS, for example, has 53 jets driven by a 3 hp two-speed pump and a 2 hp pump, plus the Northern Lighting Package (LED waterfall, sconce, jet and cup-holder lighting) as standard.
Electrical and installation
Luxury Series spas are 220/240V spas. Nordic lists the Encore LS at 220V/50A with a 4 kW heater, so you'll need a dedicated circuit from a licensed electrician. The Encore LS is 84 × 84 inches, 35 inches deep, and holds about 330 gallons. Plan a level pad or engineered deck rated for a filled spa with six adults in it. See our Utah cost guide for typical installation costs.
The Luxury Series in a Utah winter
Nordic's standard foam insulation can be upgraded with Nordic Wrap, which the manufacturer says adds R-9.5 for low ambient temperatures. For Wasatch Front winters, especially on the benches, it's worth considering. Add a tight-fitting cover and see our winter guide.
