Who the Sport Edition is for
The Sport Edition is Nordic's recovery-focused series, for runners, skiers, cyclists, lifters, and anyone whose back and legs take a beating. Nordic Star jets deliver pulsating hot water therapy aimed at the back, legs and feet. With models from the 2-person D'Amour SE to the 6-person Encore SE and Jubilee SE, you can size it for a couple or a family. The 3-person Stella SE is a compact option for entertaining with a 3-hp pump.
Electrical and installation
Nordic lists the Encore SE, Retreat SE and Stella SE at 220V/40A, so plan on a dedicated circuit from a licensed electrician. Capacities run from about 240 gallons (Stella SE) to 330 gallons (Encore SE), which makes these spas quicker to fill and heat than larger family models. A level concrete pad, compacted gravel base or engineered deck works. See 110V vs 240V and our cost guide.
Recovery through a Utah winter
Winter is prime recovery season after ski days. Sport Edition spas come with foam insulation, and Nordic offers the Nordic Wrap upgrade (R-9.5, per the manufacturer) for extra protection in the cold. Keep the cover locked down between soaks. See our winter guide and our health & wellness page.
